Hairstyle inspiration for the weekend

I am really enjoying half updos lately! I think it is because I find them so easy to do and the results are often nice!

The Duchess of Cambridge often wears them, probably because you don’t  have to brush it out of your face continually. Her half-up twist also lends a degree of formal elegance to her locks that’s way above a ponytail holder or some bobby pins, yet isn’t so complex that it takes too long, or seems overly fussy. The one in the picture below looks quite uncomplicated to replicate at home (or by a hairdresser).

Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017

The Pantone Colour of the year 2017 is Greenery, a yellow-green hue. It is a shade that relates with Spring, Summer and, most important, with the environment. Pantone’s executive director Leatrice Eiseman said: “The tangy yellow-green speaks to our desire to express, explore, experiment and reinvent, imparting a sense of buoyancy”.Great to start the new year!

Now, I know that green is not very popular, and I am not suggesting you go out and by lots of things in this colour. That’s not the idea. The important thing is to know the trends and, with this knowledge, incorporate them in your life (or not)!
