Kitten heels can be associated with our mothers or even grandmothers, so they have an old-fashioned reputation that scares many people away. There is no need to be afraid! This kind of footwear are comfortable and it has an advantage of working and leisure conditions. When you want to be more elegant, wearing a kitten heel is an uncomplicated way to achieve that.
This type of footwear asks for looks that favor it, that is, productions that show your shoes and do not hide its comfort and beauty. Cropped pants, midi skirt, shorts, pantacourts, are a great idea to create a trendy look.
3 tips help you create great looks with kitten heels:
1- Keep everything else simple
A kitten heel, whether a boot or a pump, is a statement shoe. Let them do the talking by keeping everything else minimal (denim is a safe bet).
2- When in doubt, opt for conservative hemlines
If a mini-skirt paired with kitten heels makes you feel like trapped in an awkward 2000s throwback, add a high-end edge by wearing knee-length or mid-length skirts instead.
3- Don’t be afraid to make a statement
If you’re going to embrace the one of the world’s most polarizing shoe, best go all out and rock a gold metallic style with a baby pink strap, or a Valentino with a destroyed pair of jeans, right? The idea, after all, is to have fun!
A frequent question from women regarding makeup is “How can I mitigate the expression lines beneath my eyes?”. To the surprise of some, the tactic is very simple.
First of all, drink plenty of water to keep the body properly hydrated, since this is a beneficial action throughout the body.
Then know that it is necessary to invest in a good primer or eye cream that is applied in this region in order to give a luscious effect on the skin.
Only in the case of oily skin, restrict the use of the cosmetic only to the region below the eyes, and then apply the concealer after the foundation.Never, under any circumstances, apply powder to this area of the face (keep away from the baking technique for under the eyes), as they accentuate the lines of expression and may even contribute to the appearance of possible bags under the eyes.
Now the summer is near, if you love to roast in the sun or just have dry skin, I suggest you do those tricks and feel the noticeable difference that these procedures will convey to you.
Kim Cattrall, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Gillian Anderson lead the best dressed at the 2017 Bafta TV Awards. The ladies brought elegance to the red carpet in London on Sunday, 14th May 2017. Television stars were out in force to celebrate the 2017 TV Baftas – bringing buckets of style to the red carpet.
This hairstyle is very easy to replicate at home and looks great! To make the hair more polished you can blow dry it with some volume and curls on the ends of the hair. Also, don’t forget the hairspray to keep everything in place and the jaw clips matching your hair colour!
I must confess, I found this year very hard to choose my favourite looks from the Metropolitan Museum ball, mostly because there was so little to choose from! I know probably none of them are on theme, but it was a difficult theme for celebrities, avant-garde and not conventionally pretty. So I choose the ones I like the most regardless of anything.
Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady arrived in style for the Met Gala in NYC on Monday. Gisele wore a stunning, form-fitting Stella Mccartney grey dress, and Tom cleaned up in a dark velvet suit jacket.Gisele and Tom are co-chairing the annual event with Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Caroline Kennedy. It’s the first time the supermodel and Super Bowl winner have attended the gala since 2014.
I loved how she mixed the metallics – silver gown and gold clutch. This, paired with the cuts on the dress made the whole outfit very current.
The hair was another nice touch. The ponytail (more casual) with the gala dress made the look fresh and sexy in a good way.
Here is a photo of her look she posted on Instagram before the event:
This hairstyle is perfect for the weekend! It keeps the hair out of your face, is super easy to pull off, and it looks really cool. Just remember to use a lot of texturing hair spray to get this effect. If you have fine hair, you can also apply something to give more volume (mine looks very sad if I don’t use it).
Those who have fine hair know how hard it is to keep it healthy. The task is definitely not easy and so I’m going to give some very basic tips, but that will greatly help those who live this daily battle!
Let’s start by talking about brushing: the thinner threads are very delicate and, if not groomed carefully, they may break, causing that frizz that bothers women. An alternative is to choose brushes without “balls” on the ends because they can twist and break the hair strands.
Another tip that makes all the difference is to use a pre-shampoo on the ends of the hair before washing it. It sounds silly, but that changes everything! The more delicate hair strands dry very much when they come in direct contact with the shampoo, so the order is always to protect it!
A recurring problem in fine hair is double ends because they appear more easily on fine strands. It is always very important to cut the tips of the hair frequently, usually, every two or three months.
Another recommendation is to never sleep with damp or wet hair! It is also important not to hold hair with elastic bands that have metal, they can screw on the strands and break them. Give preference to soft elastic bands with no metal or jaw clips.
Use nourishing products on your hair and treat it with a lot of care. The strands, previously dry and lifeless, will always look healthy and hydrated.
A great pair of shoes can transform an outfit into a look in a matter of seconds! Shoes and bags are statement items, and the same outfit when worn with sandals, would look completely different with a pair of Stan Smiths or a pair of stiletto court shoes.
The way you accessorize an outfit can turn it into a full-on ‘look’, multiplying your wardrobe choices and making the most of your pieces.
This outfit Olivia Palermo wore the other day, for example:
It is a lovely look but, what made it remarkable for me, were the Alexander McQueen Embroidered Slippers! They change the entire vibe ofthe outfit!
It is something good to have in mind, especially for those “I have got nothing to wear” moments!
