How to apply red lipstick

Red lipstick is an eternal classic.  It always refers me to an elegant and feminine woman. Whenever I use it, I feel beautiful and even well-dressed instantly!

The best tip when applying red lipstick is to always draw the mouth. Fill your lips with a lip pencil and then, with an appropriate brush and enough product, apply the lipstick on the lips.

Apply once, remove the excess kissing a tissue and apply again, making thin layers of lipstick. The secret is to practice and, soon enough, you are going to master it!

On my lips: Uber Pink

I love Bobbi Brown lipsticks! The Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in  Uber Pink is one of my favourites. It’s a nice neutral colour and it’s perfect for a smokey eye look or for those days when I want something more natural and fresh. It glides beautifully without tugging at the lips and staying power is good (bear in mind that I don’t mind to reapply my lipstick during the day).

Every time when I use this lipstick I’m impressed by the creaminess and texture of it. It looks so natural and pretty on the lips, with a hint of shimmer & shine. Lovely!

On my lips: 1993

These days I went back to an old favourite the 1993 lipstick by Urban Decay. It is a warm brown hue with a matte finish. Its neutral colour is perfect for everyday use and gives a chic finish to any kind of makeup. It is very comfortable to wear and it is long lasting. I love it!

On my lips: Blondie Pink

I think Blondie Pink from Bobbi Brown is a great go-to pink lipstick! It is a pink nude very easy to wear, with enough colour to add some definition and warmth. The lipstick formulation is really good, it doesn’t dry out my lips and lasts several hours.

On my lips: Fig

This week my favourite lipstick was Bite Beauty Fig. I had completely forgotten about it! It is a light-medium, rosy pink with warm undertones, satin finish and is also a little bit bright. Good if you want just a pop of colour. I am in love!
